Overview

Home Loan Calculator ("we", "our", "the site") provides free home loan calculators for Indian borrowers. This policy explains what data is, and isn't, collected when you use the site.

Information we don't collect

There is no sign-up and no account. Every calculator on this site — EMI, prepayment, affordability, refinance, and the rest — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The loan amounts, interest rates, and other figures you enter are never sent to us or to any server; we have no database of user inputs.

Local storage

Features like the Scenario Manager save your named scenarios using your browser's local storage, a standard web technology that keeps data on your own device. This data is never transmitted to us. It stays until you clear it yourself (via your browser's site data settings) or clear your browser cache.

Cookies and advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

Analytics

This site does not currently use any analytics or tracking service. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Fonts

Fonts used on this site are downloaded once at build time and served from this site's own domain — your browser never contacts Google's font servers, so no font-related data is shared with Google for this purpose.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
